Statement of Faith
WE BELIEVE that the Bible is the inspired and only infallible, inerrant Word of God. We view it as the final authority in matters of faith, practice, and government.
WE BELIEVE that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
WE BELIEVE in the deity and humanity of Jesus Christ; in his virgin birth; in his sinless life; in his miracles; in his vicarious atoning death; in his bodily resurrection; in his ascension to the right hand of the Father; and in his personal return in power, to establish his kingdom.
WE BELIEVE that all men, apart from the regeneration work of the Holy Spirit are lost. Sinners experience salvation by God's grace, through faith in Jesus Christ.
WE BELIEVE that the baptism by immersion in water is an outward sign of the inward work of salvation.
WE BELIEVE that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is to endue the believer with power and his empowering is after the same manner as in the Bible days.
WE BELIEVE in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, who indwells all believers and enables them to live godly lives. The gifts of the Holy Spirit are valid for today, and need to be expressed according to scriptural guidelines.
WE BELIEVE in the prayer for the sick and that divine healing is a provision of the redemptive work of Christ on the cross.
WE BELIEVE in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost. Those who are saved will be raised to eternal life, and the lost will be raised to eternal damnation.
WE BELIEVE that it is the will of God that we live a sanctified and holy life growing constantly in the faith.
WE BELIEVE that the Holy Communion is a memorial of the Death and the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
WE BELIEVE that all truth must be balanced with other scriptural truth in order to avoid any extreme fanaticism, and we believe that moderation should show forth in our daily walk as a believer.
WE BELIEVE that the Laws of the land should be upheld at all times except in matters opposed to the word of God.
WE BELIEVE in the spiritual unity of all believers in Jesus Christ.
WE BELIEVE in the bond of love, which is the perfecting of our Christian faith.
